Storing Toner cartridges

The optimal temperature range for toner cartridge storage is 0-35°C and relative humidity is 15-80% RH. Within this temperature and humidity range, the performance and print quality of the toner cartridge can be effectively guaranteed.

1. Specific requirements for preservation environment

Avoid direct sunlight and close to heat sources: toner cartridges are very sensitive to light and heat, and prolonged exposure to strong light will lead to deterioration of the properties of the surface material of the photoconductor, or even permanent damage. Therefore, the toner cartridge should be stored in a cool, dry and light-proof place.

2. Temperature and humidity stability: Toner cartridges should be avoided to be stored in an environment with drastic changes in temperature and humidity, such as next to an air conditioner or heater. Excessive temperature will cause the toner to clump and affect printing results; high humidity will cause the toner to clump with moisture.

Precautions for Toner Cartridge Storage

1. Use period after opening: Unused toner cartridges should be used up within half a year, otherwise their performance will become unstable, leading to a decline in print quality.

2. Avoid mechanical vibration: When operating the toner cartridge, avoid mechanical vibration and touching the surface of the photoconductor to avoid damage.

3. Correct storage: Unused toner cartridges are best kept in the printer or in the original bag, sealed to prevent moisture or damage.
